Finding the right template
- Some cars and models have different names in different countries/continents, please do check if this is the case with your car. Our car model names are taken from the European market. For example Chevrolet Captiva, Colorado and Spark are branded as Holden in Australia and New Zealand.
- The year stated in our database is the first year the model was built. There are not outlines for every year of car production if the outline has not changed. For example the latest model of the Toyota HiAce was released in 2014 and this is what is appropriate for any later year models.
- Some models come with different heights and wheelbases. For example Low roof/Short wheelbase is L1H1 (length 1, height 1)
- Hundreds of vehicles templates are added each year. Nevertheless we do not claim to have every model listed. We suggest you will find 70% to 80% of the vehicles in your neighborhood.
The car outlines are supplied as a zip file containing:
- Vector file .EPS
- Illustrator file .AI
- CorelDraw file .CDR
- AutoCad file .DXF
